Okay this Old Bald Guy and the Code Wizard (Mike Paetzold and John Merrick) have been busy while the The traffic Exchange Guy (Jon Olson) has been off commiserating with now being over the hill since he reached the ripe old age of 30.

There are now three pages that you can use to capture leads. One is a splash page with a pop over that will ask for name and email. The other two are set up specifically for the traffic exchanges and the safelists. Both also use a pop over along with the regular squeeze page.

You do need to do some set up work because anyone filling out these forms will be going directly to YOUR autoresponder sequence. You will need to set up your autoresponder with the messages provided or your own if you prefer. Create a form and put the code in the promotion area right below where you will find the URL’s for these pages.

Finally, you will need to test all aspects BEFORE you start to use them. This will give you the start of a full email marketing campaign that you can adapt for your business.

There have been additional lessons added and you should use the forum for any questions so we can develop an FAQ for others and improve the lessons.

The email series should be finished and uploaded this week in the lessons area. You will be able to import it directly into Email Aces and Aweber once it is completed.

Affiliate Funnel News 4/11/07

Changes to tools

Sorry for the delay in changing things up but needed to get a few things reprogrammed for this change. John Merrick (the programming wizard of this trio) just had a new addition to his family, a baby boy and has been a bit behind with the adjustments.

These should be in by this weekend. We will be adding more traffic exchanges, safelists and one more important tool. Look for an announcement on Sunday.

Forum

I have added to the Squidoo section. If you are using Squidoo you can add your lens into that section and we can create a help system for each other. Check it out. This will be the only area where links in your posts won’t get edited as long as they start http://www.squidoo.com/ ;-).

If you have questions on Affiliate Funnel or tips that can help others please post them in the forum. The forum can be a great asset to help improve the program for everyone.

Seminars

This weeks seminar will be on Lead Capture Pages. This is something that we are working to add into Affiliate Funnel but everyone should have their own and be building their list. We will discuss some of the best ways to use this not only in traffic exchanges but in other venues too. Seminar will be Saturday at noon.

Next week (April 21st) there is a conflict. We are considering changing the seminar to Sunday instead of Saturday. The other option is to just skip it for that week. Let me know what your preference is by adding your comments here.

I will be ending the Opt In Master Course seminar series on Tuesday’s but have thought about using that time slot – Tuesday 8pm est – for a special series of seminars for rebranders of Opt In Master Course and Gold members of Affiliate Funnel. The topics will be a bit more advanced and an extra benefit for the upgraded members. Please leave your feedback here.

Affiliate Funnel News – 04/03/07

Program Updates

Jon and I are finalizing our selection of traffic exchanges. This should be completed before the end of the week. We will be adding 5 exchanges as the majority of the people that responded in the polls was to have more. You talk – we listen.

I will be catching up with Soren to finalize the safelist list. We are looking to add a few more there too.

We are also looking at a couple more tools to be added but no decision has been made yet. Please use the forum for giving us your input. We strive to make this the best program around.

Finally, we think we have found a way to add in squeeze pages to the splash  pages as an option and tie them in directly to YOUR autoresponder. We are creating an email series to promote Affiliate Funnel for you that will be able to be loaded directly into your autoresponder if you use Aweber or Email Aces. They will also be available in copy and paste form if you prefer another solution.

Squidoo Information

If you haven’t figured out yet I personally love using blogs and Squidoo in my marketing. One of the people that I have learned quite a few tips from is Bob Jenkins. You may know him as Bob the Teacher.

He has been kind enough to agree to do a teleseminar with me tomorrow night and answer YOUR questions about Squidoo and share some of his tips and tricks.
